Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mmm Mmm (ranked 23305 p4p, 23317 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 111 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 79 - 54 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Inday tries to sprawl but Mmm drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mmm is pressing down on Inday's thigh, looking to free his foot. Inday is holding on for now. Inday is defending against the submission attempts here by Mmm.
Inday controlling the position well. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Inday is staying active underneath Mmm, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mmm shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Inday as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mmm scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mmm is staying tight to Inday's torso, preventing him from escaping. Mmm tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Mmm decides to take the fight back to the feet. Inday shoots in for a double leg but Mmm sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. It looked like Mmm was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday shoots for a double leg takedown but Mmm sprawls well. He's pushed Inday's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. It appears Mmm was looking to counter with a kick there. Mmm is looking to land body kicks. Inday changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mmm tries to avoid it but Inday manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mmm to the ground. Mmm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mmm Mmm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zambosurian Inday. Inday dives in and scores a takedown into Mmm's guard. Inday is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Inday pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mmm is keeping the position for now.

Mmm Mmm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Mmm throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Inday counters with a body kick. Inday stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Inday wants it to stay on the feet. Nice body kick from Mmm. Inday shoots for a takedown but Mmm saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mmm drops down looking for a counter takedown but Inday sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mmm sprawls well initially but Inday persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mmm is looking to control Inday's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mmm avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Mmm controlling the position well. Inday slows the pace down in half guard. Mmm wants to control but Inday is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Inday is controlling the pace.
Inday tries to pass to full mount but Mmm defends it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Inday stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mmm misses with a takedown attempt and Inday counters with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday shoots in but no luck this time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Inday is defended easily by Mmm. It appears Mmm was looking to counter with a kick there. Mmm Mmm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zambosurian Inday. Inday displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mmm. Inday unleashes a big counter combination but Mmm bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mmm closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Inday is concentrating on defense, preventing Mmm from advancing position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mmm is keen to just control but Inday is a slippery customer. Inday moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Zambosurian Inday will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Inday looks to land a body kick but Mmm moved away. Mmm shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inday can do anything to dispel that myth. Mmm controlling from the top position. Mmm preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Inday is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inday keeping moving, preventing Mmm from controlling successfully. Inday is adopting a defensive guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Inday gets caught napping as Mmm dives in and scores a takedown. Inday manages to retain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Inday has control of Mmm's left arm, preventing Mmm from doing any damage. Mmm is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inday looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Inday is pulling down on Mmm's head. It's preventing any offense from Mmm, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Inday tries to land a sweep but no joy. Inday keeping moving, preventing Mmm from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mmm dives in and grabs Inday's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inday pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out. Inday raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A momentary lapse in concentration from Mmm enables Inday to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mmm manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mmm Mmm. Well Mmm has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
