Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ibrahim Conrad (ranked 3545 p4p, 25023 weight class) and Manny Torres (ranked 227 p4p, 312 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ibrahim Conrad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manny Torres!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres rushes Conrad and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Torres drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Conrad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Torres wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Torres is trying to break the clinch but Conrad is controlling him.
Torres throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Conrads head.
Conrad misses with a knee strike.
Torres wants to get back to striking at distance but Conrad won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Conrad breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Torres tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Conrad bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Conrad changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Torres looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Torres is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Conrad has just dragged him back down to the mat.

It looks like Manny Torres has been cut.

Conrad has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Torres shoots in for a takedown but Conrad shows good takedown defense.
Torres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Conrad appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ibrahim Conrad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Torres.

Conrad bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Torres is trying to get back to half guard.
Conrad landing a few strikes.
Torres is still in real trouble! Can Conrad finish him?
Conrad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Conrad is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torres is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Torres seems to have recovered his senses.
Conrad definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Conrad stands up.
A head kick misses from Conrad.
Manny Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Torres looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Conrad tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Torres manages to circle out of the way.
Torres shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Conrad defends it nicely.

Torres closes the distance and clinches.
Torres tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Torres is trying to stall.
Torres goes for a takedown attempt but Conrad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Torres dodges the punch combination from Conrad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Conrad clinches up against the cage.
Torres can't get the takedown.
Torres has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Conrad is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Conrad misses with a knee strike.
Torres is trying to pull guard but Conrad turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Conrad gets underhooks to prevent Torres's takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Conrad throws an elbow but it misses.
Conrad keeps control of Torres as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Torres breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ibrahim Conrad dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Manny Torres's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Conrad has cracked Torres with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Conrad lands another huge swinging hook and Torres tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Torres, before Conrad can land any more shots!
