Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Iron Side (ranked 1129 p4p, 22480 weight class) and Tang Cao (ranked 156 p4p, 565 weight class). Side comes into the arena with In the Dark - Vintage Culture, Fancy Inc blaring out of the sound system. Cao has chosen Song of the Waking City - Jucifer as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iron Side!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tang Cao !
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Side blocks a jab.
Cao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tang Cao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Side throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cao connects with a high kick.

It looks like Iron Side has been cut.
Cao throws a big shot that misses.
Side keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cao .
Side avoids the head kick by Cao .
Side looks to land a left hand but Cao moved out of range nicely.
Cao jabs at Side's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Side lands a nice looking body shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cao lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Side has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Side and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Side swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Side wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cao throws a looping overhand right but Side ducks down to avoid it.
Side checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Side with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cao looks winded!
Side feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cao s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Side looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cao takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Tang Cao has been cut.
Cao misses with a low kick.
Side swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Cao is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Side.
A quick step to the side and Side tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cao drops his guard momentarily, allowing Side to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Cao ! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Side takes it!
