Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seregei Romanov (ranked 4209 p4p, 25450 weight class) and King Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seregei Romanov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seregei Romanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 11 - 0, fighting out of The Island, King Watson! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romanov keeps the fight on the outside. Watson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Romanov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Romanov shoots in and gets a takedown into Watson's guard. Romanov chips away with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Romanov's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Romanov sitting in guard here, content to control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watson can do anything to dispel that myth. Romanov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romanov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Watson for as long as he can get away with. Romanov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Watson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Watson wants it to stay on the feet. Romanov drives through and clinches with Watson against the cage.
Romanov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Watson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Romanov jumps guard but Watson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seregei Romanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romanov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Romanov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romanov controlling the position. Romanov looking for a sweep. Not yet Romanov, not yet. Romanov is adopting a defensive guard. Romanov looking for a triangle here. Watson is fighting it but it looks tight! Romanov pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Watson is tapping out - this one is all over!
