Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Sweet (ranked 2710 p4p, 3099 weight class) and Dante Robinson (ranked 310 p4p, 351 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Robinson with a hook.
Robinson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sweet moves into the clinch successfully.
Sweet keeps control of Robinson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
I was talking to Sweet's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Robinson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sweet creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Robinson's defenses.
It looks like Dante Robinson has been cut.
Sweet throws an elbow but it misses.
Sweet scores with a shoulder strike.
Sweet throws an elbow that misses.
Robinson wants to get back to striking at distance but Sweet won't allow it.
Sweet lands an elbow just above Robinson 's eye.
Sweet lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Robinson is rocked!

Clinched against the cage, Sweet lands a big elbow that drops Robinson! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Robinson is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
