With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King takes one to the side of the head.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Canada.
Canada with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling King to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Beau Canada has been cut.

Canada gets a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that King has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

King can't find room to land a body shot as Canada controls the action.

Canada has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Canada creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ledley King will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


King feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Canada sprawling to the canvas! Canada rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can King finish him?!
King connects with the punch.
Canada digs a good hook to King's body.
Canada jabs King right on the nose. King blinks but takes it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Canada takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.
Canada connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

King cracks Canada with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. King has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Canada to stand back up!

Canada is rocked!
Canada is holding his hands too far apart here. King throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Canada is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ledley King!
A very excited looking Ledley King rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
