Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Panda Cuchi (ranked 4229 p4p, 4145 weight class) and Jae Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jae Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Panda Cuchi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jae Lee!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee clinches up with Cuchi and pushes him back against the cage.
Cuchi is trying to pull guard but Lee has him pressed against the cage.
Cuchi tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.
Lee has Cuchi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lee pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cuchi tumbling to the mat - Lee dives into Cuchi's guard.
Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lee lands a couple of elbows.
Lee stands up from Cuchi's guard - Lee perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cuchi stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
Cuchi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Lee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cuchi defends well and Lee ends up having to push Cuchi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Cuchi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Lee closes the distance and pushes Cuchi back into the cage.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee pulls guard effortlessly.
Lee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Cuchi wants to get up but he can't break Lee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cuchi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cuchi wants to stand but Lee is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lee drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cuchi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cuchi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lee manages to break the clinch.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Cuchi moves out of range easily.
Cuchi scores with a one two! Lee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Lee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cuchi to the ground. Lee is now in Cuchi's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cuchi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lee uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cuchi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cuchi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lee escapes and throws Cuchi's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lee is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cuchi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Lee decides to stand back up.
Lee rushes Cuchi and presses him up against the cage.
Lee is looking for a takedown.
Cuchi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.

Lee wants the takedown. Cuchi is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cuchi's guard against the cage.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cuchi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cuchi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cuchi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily.

Panda Cuchi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard.
Cuchi is wriggling around but Lee manages to pass to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jae Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cuchi's guard.
Cuchi is wriggling around but Lee manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cuchi wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.
Lee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is landing with some decent strikes but Cuchi is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Cuchi lands with a nice combination. Lee backs away looking to recover.
Lee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lee moves nicely into side control.
Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Cuchi is defending well.
Lee connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Cuchi some visible discomfort.

Lee creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cuchi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cuchi seems a little lost for a moment, as Lee dominates the positioning.
Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cuchi to his feet.
Cuchi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cuchi pinned against the cage. Cuchi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cuchi appears to be looking for a big counter.
Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lee dives in and scores a takedown into Cuchi's guard.
Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cuchi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lee has picked Cuchi up and slammed him! Cuchi can't keep hold of the triangle and Lee manages to pass to side control!

Lee stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Lee moves into range and clinches up with Cuchi.
Cuchi tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Cuchi drops back down to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lee no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lee is adopting a defensive guard.
Lee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cuchi is one step ahead there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cuchi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cuchi has Lee in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
Jae Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
