Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Jacobson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spenser Swagger!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson gets a clinch.
Jacobson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Swagger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters circling a little - Swagger finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jacobson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Marshall Jacobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobson slips a jab from Swagger.
Jacobson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Swagger.
It looks like Marshall Jacobson has been cut.
Swagger tries to land a front kick but Jacobson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
It looked like Jacobson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Swagger on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A big right from Jacobson misses.
Jacobson misses with a double jab
and Swagger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Swagger lands a big head kick that sends Jacobson tumbling to the mat! Swagger takes a step backwards and waves Jacobson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jacobson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacobson walks straight into a right hand from Swagger - that's dropped him! Swagger jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jacobson from any more punishment! Jacobson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Spenser Swagger!
Spenser Swagger spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
