Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theo Almeida (ranked 2857 p4p, 3180 weight class) and Junior Daniel (ranked 357 p4p, 402 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Daniel.
A nice side step and Daniel releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Almeida lands with a good body shot.

Almeida goes for a double leg but Daniel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daniel continues to drive forward.
Daniel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Daniel jumps guard but Almeida stands there with Daniel around his waist. Daniel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Daniel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Almeida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Almeida takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Daniel takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Almeida's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
