The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawford scores with a one two! Pace had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Julio Pace has been cut.

and Pace counters with a series of strikes. Crawford will be more careful next time no doubt.

Crawford has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Crawford throws a nice looking combination but Pace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Crawford shoots in looking for a takedown but Pace manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crawford's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pace lands a left and a right that send Crawford crashing to the mat, dazed. Pace thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Crawford is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crawford tries to get into range but Pace steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Crawford! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Pace scores the big KO victory!
