Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Azim Kaarduu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duane Souza!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Duane Souza has been cut.
Kaarduu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Souza is rocked!
Kaarduu flashes Souza a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Souza's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Souza crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Kaarduu punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Azim Kaarduu!
A relieved looking Azim Kaarduu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
