Silva takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hamsik lands with an overhand left.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hamsik darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hamsik goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Hamsik shows good takedown defense.
A jab lands there for Hamsik.
Hamsik throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silva.
Hamsik cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hamsik moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Marek Hamsik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Hamsik which made him look bad.
Silva looks gassed!
An inside leg kick from Silva misses.
Hamsik lands a jab-cross combination.
Silva takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Silva is rocked!
Hamsik connects with a stiff jab that staggers Silva - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
