The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boone keeps the fight on the outside.
We've been told by Boone's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Boone scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Leghorn tries to clinch but Boone is having none of it.
Boone looks to land a left hand but Leghorn moved out of range nicely.
