The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Kong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Tai Kong will probably get the nod.
