Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Niblett (ranked 2792 p4p, 2675 weight class) and Turner Crocop (ranked 352 p4p, 331 weight class). Turner Crocop told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Niblett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Turner Crocop!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niblett misses with a wild combination.
Crocop lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from Crocop.
A counter left hand to the body from Niblett misses its target.
Niblett comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab by Niblett.
Niblett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crocop was well out of range. Poor timing from Niblett.
Crocop replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Niblett blocks it well.
Niblett blocks a head kick by Crocop.
Niblett throws a big counter combination but Crocop scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Niblett scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Turner Crocop has been cut.
Crocop pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Niblett avoids the head kick by Crocop.
Niblett appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Crocop misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Niblett misses with a double jab.
Nice body punch from Niblett.
A telegraphed right hand from Niblett misses the target.

Crocop looks to throw a body kick
and Niblett counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Niblett is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Crocop lands a high kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Niblett takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Niblett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crocop raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Crocop lands a head kick. Niblett smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Crocop throws a lazy head kick
and Niblett counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Crocop takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Niblett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crocop manages to avoid it.
Niblett looks to land a left hand but Crocop moved out of range nicely.
Crocop falls off balance throwing a combination
and Niblett counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head kick by Crocop misses
and Niblett makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crocop looks winded!
Crocop doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Niblett fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Niblett lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Crocop backs up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Niblett lands a nice looking body shot.
Niblett jabs Crocop to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Crocop takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Niblett dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Crocop takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Crocop throws a head kick that misses.
Niblett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crocop moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Niblett lands a body shot.
Crocop looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Crocop moves out of range of the body kick from Niblett.

A looping hook to the body misses from Niblett. Crocop does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crocop lands a big head kick that sends Niblett tumbling to the mat! Crocop takes a step backwards and waves Niblett back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Niblett is looking to wear down Crocop with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Niblett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crocop throws out a counter right but Niblett avoids it with no problem.

Crocop lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Niblett crumples to the floor! Crocop milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Turner Crocop!
In defeat, Martin Niblett stepped up to the mic, saying 'Great, my credit card is stolen and now I've got a L'.
