Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Butler Hickok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kobra Jay!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickok dips to his left and cracks Jay with an uppercut!

It looks like Kobra Jay has been cut.
Hickok takes one to the chin there.
Hickok misses with a few strikes there.
Hickok throws a combination that misses
and Jay counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like James Butler Hickok has been cut.
Jay connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hickok. Hickok circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hickok wants to clinch up but Jay keeps it at a distance.
Hickok slips under a jab.
Jay avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hickok lands a high kick!
Hickok staying out of range there.
Jay with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jay misses with a hook. Hickok ducked under it nicely.
Jay tests Hickok's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jay throws a jab when Hickok was well out of range.
Jay misses with a body shot.

Jay drops Hickok with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hickok looks back up at him and smiles so Jay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fighters circling - Jay throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hickok moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice left hand lands by Hickok.
Jay working some nice short punches in the clinch.
The referee calls for Hickok to work.
Hickok has Jay pressed against the cage.
Jay lands with a left to the head.
Jay lands with a light punch inside.
Jay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hickok - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Hickok tries to stall but Jay uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jay scores with a hook to the body.
Hickok is breathing heavily.
Jay misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jay content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hickok is trying to maintain a safe position but Jay gets an underhook and turns Hickok into the cage.
Jay lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hickok just leaning against Jay, taking a breather.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by James Butler Hickok.
Jay lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Hickok - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Jay!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kobra Jay!
