The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shima closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Khrapov Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shima is fending him off so far but Khrapov Jr persists. Nope, Shima circles away and we're back to standing.
A nice side step and Shima releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shima displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Khrapov Jr.
Shima unleashes a big counter combination but Khrapov Jr bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sloppy strikes from Shima. Those never looked like landing.
Khrapov Jr was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Vasily Khrapov Jr will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Shima scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Shima darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Shima takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Shima misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shima tries to clinch
and Khrapov Jr counters with a right hand that sends Shima tumbling to the canvas! Can Khrapov Jr finish him? He dives into Shima's guard looking to do just that!
Shima is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khrapov Jr stands up over Shima, holding on to his feet. Khrapov Jr throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Shima is out cold! Khrapov Jr lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Vasily Khrapov Jr!
In defeat, Tetsuo Shima stepped up to the mic, saying 'Off to the next, I thought I would have beat this bum but shit happens'.
