The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarlah circles away from the clinch attempt.
Liu scoring well with a low kick there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Liu.
Liu throws a leg kick which misses Tarlah's front leg but catches the back leg as Tarlah tries to avoid it.

Tarlah takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A nice leg kick lands there from Liu.
Liu looks to score with a jab to the body but Tarlah is just out of range.
Tarlah drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Liu defends it well.
Liu is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Tarlah moves out of range of the leg kick from Liu.
Tarlah is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Liu throws a right hand that misses
and Liu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Liu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liu scores with a one two! Tarlah had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Tarlah takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tarlah takes one to the side of the head.

Liu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tarlah.
It seemed like Tarlah was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Liu connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tarlah. Tarlah circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Tarlah is rocked!
Tarlah looks up at the clock. Bad move! Liu lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tarlah. Liu pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
