Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nile Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Alencar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ranger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Alencar wants to hold on but Ranger pushes him away.

Alencar is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ranger misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ranger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alencar is looking to escape.

Ranger feints and as Alencar raises his hands in defense, Ranger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ranger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alencar walks away with a smile on his face. Ranger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
