Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Caye (ranked 4094 p4p, 2047 weight class) and Anthoni Joshua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthoni Joshua has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Caye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthoni Joshua! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caye feints and as Joshua raises his hands in defense, Caye changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Joshua seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Joshua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caye. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Caye loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joshua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Caye slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Joshua wanted to stand there but Caye had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caye seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Caye lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caye working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Joshua is trying to keep Caye in close.
Caye loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joshua is looking to stand up but Caye isn't so interested in that idea. Joshua keeping full guard, as Caye tries to pass. Caye chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Caye stops Joshua from standing up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joshua can do anything to dispel that myth. Joshua working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Caye. Caye will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Joshua is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Joshua looking to hit a scissor sweep but Caye is one step ahead there. Joshua wants to stand up but Caye is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caye shoots and misses enabling Joshua to counter with a crisp jab. Caye looks to land a combination but Joshua avoids it well. Joshua doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Caye closes this distance looking for a takedown but Joshua circles away. Joshua swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've been informed that Joshua has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Caye has his takedown stuffed and Joshua lands a stunning uppercut that sends Caye to the mat!
Caye is rocked!
It looks like Justin Caye has been cut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Caye. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Joshua wants to stand up but Caye has a hold of him and won't allow it. Oh Caye is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Joshua seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Joshua uses his free foot to push down on Caye's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Caye. Joshua content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Joshua has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caye keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Joshua controlling from the full mount. Caye seems to have got his legs back now. Caye wants to control but Joshua is having none of it. Caye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Caye is squirming around, avoiding Joshua's attempts to control the action. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Anthoni Joshua dominated that round. The cut man is working on Justin Caye's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Caye ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A punch combination from Caye misses. Joshua doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Caye gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Joshua counters with a crisp right that sends Caye to the canvas! Joshua follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthoni Joshua!
