The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman swats away the attempt to clinch by do Zuleika.
do Zuleika changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hitman tries to avoid it but do Zuleika manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hitman to the ground. Hitman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
do Zuleika gets a takedown into half guard.
Well, if do Zuleika is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

so do Zuleika counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
do Zuleika sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hitman's guard.
do Zuleika is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hitman defends it well.

Hitman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

do Zuleika shoots for a double leg takedown but Hitman sprawls well. He's pushed do Zuleika's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and do Zuleika counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
do Zuleika could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as do Zuleika accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hitman is looking to stand up but do Zuleika isn't so interested in that idea.
Hitman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hitman looking to hit a scissor sweep but do Zuleika is one step ahead there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hitman is bucking up trying to escape but do Zuleika cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Hitman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with do Zuleika. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
