Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Shalit misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Archer tries to clinch but Shalit is having none of it. Shalit feints and as Archer raises his hands in defense, Shalit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shalit is fighting to break Archer's control of his arms but Archer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've been hearing good reports from Shalit's training camp. Archer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shalit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Shalit might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Archer wants to control from the top but Shalit keeps moving.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Archer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Archer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Archer being controlled here momentarily. Shalit is trying to control the position but Archer postures up.

Shalit content to stall in guard here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Archer is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Shalit gets a bonus point for attempting more subs. Shalit takes the fight on points by 5 to 4.
