Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Pierre (ranked 1401 p4p, 1580 weight class) and Moses Okafor (ranked 174 p4p, 199 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Pierre !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moses Okafor!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okafor has closed the distance and engaged Pierre in a clinch.
Pierre takes a shot to the head.
Okafor gets through Pierre 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Pierre wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Okafor has him pressed against the ropes.
Pierre is trying to break free.
Pierre escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Okafor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pierre jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Okafor wants to counter with a clinch but Pierre pushes him away.
Pierre misses with a looping left.
Okafor lands a lovely overhand right.
Pierre loads up on a big right hand but Okafor slips the punch.
Nice jab there from Okafor.
Pierre looks to land a right hand but Okafor moved out of range.
Pierre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pierre throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pierre gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Okafor.
Pierre throws a series of punches but Okafor avoids them all with ease.
Pierre gets tackled into the ropes by Okafor. Okafor maintains the clinch.
Pierre wants to break the clinch but can't.
Okafor looking to slow down the pace here.
Pierre is looking to break free of the clinch but Okafor has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Okafor lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jacques Pierre 's cut is getting worse.
Pierre is trying to push Okafor away but Okafor has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Okafor just leaning against Pierre , taking a breather.
Okafor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pierre takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Pierre looks to score with a jab to the body but Okafor is just out of range.
A swing and a miss from Pierre .
Okafor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pierre misses with a straight right.
Okafor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jacques Pierre 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Pierre misses with a straight left.

and Okafor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Okafor forces Pierre back against the ropes and clinches.
Pierre breaks the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierre has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jeez, Jacques Pierre 's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Pierre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Okafor moves away.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Okafor! Pierre is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Moses Okafor!
After the fight, Moses Okafor was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
