Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darcy Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Ivan Kovalev has been cut.
Kovalev looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Walsh slaps away a takedown attempt from Kovalev, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Walsh instigates a clinch.
Kovalev wants to take the fight to the mat but Walsh manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kovalev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Walsh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Walsh leaves Kovalev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Kovalev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walsh connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kovalev - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
