PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maito Kaishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Trane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaishi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Monkey Man. Kaishi has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Maito Kaishi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trane rushes Kaishi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Trane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kaishi tries to avoid it but Trane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kaishi to the ground. Kaishi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Trane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Trane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaishi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Trane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaishi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
