And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthoniii Joshua!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some scores with a spinning back kick!
Joshua takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Anthoniii Joshua has been cut.
Some shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Joshua defends it nicely.

A solid leg kick lands there for Some.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Joshua throws a counter combo.

A nice leg kick lands there from Some.
Trouble Some seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Joshua takes a kick to the side of the head.
Some wants to clinch up but Joshua keeps it at a distance.
Some jabs Joshua to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Some lands with a kick to the temple. Joshua shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Some throws a nice outside leg kick.
Some misses with a head kick.
Joshua is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Some throws a front kick that sends Joshua stumbling back into the cage.
Some feints and then cracks Joshua's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Joshua down.
Some buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Joshua stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Some.
Some lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That has opened up Anthoniii Joshua's cut even more.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Joshua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Joshua counters with a straight right hand.
Some throws a left and a right that both miss
and Joshua counters with a nice uppercut.
Some is rocked!
Joshua takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Some swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Joshua counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Some has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
