Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Small Fry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vidar Engberg!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engberg misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fry.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fry scores with a head kick. Engberg tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Vidar Engberg has been cut.
Fry scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Engberg doesn't seem bothered though.
Fry lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fry throws a right and a left that Engberg avoids nicely.
Fry keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A counter left hand to the body from Fry misses its target.
Fry pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Engberg manages to avoid it.
Engberg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Fry scores with a jab.
Engberg takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fry fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Engberg to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Engberg looks to clinch but Fry throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Engberg taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Small Fry!
