Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Calloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reynaldo Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Calloway is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Reynaldo Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ribeiro throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ribeiro misses with a looping left.
Ribeiro cracks Calloway with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Calloway seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ribeiro swings for the body but Calloway moves out of range.
As Ribeiro tries to get set, Calloway tries to push him back and clinch up but Ribeiro manages to avoid the attempt.
A left lands for Calloway.
The fighters circling - Ribeiro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ribeiro takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Calloway swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ribeiro.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Calloway fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ribeiro manages to avoid it.
Ribeiro throws out a loose jab but Calloway uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ribeiro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ribeiro moves into the clinch successfully.

Ribeiro tries to pull guard but Calloway forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Ribeiro is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Calloway to keep the fight standing.

That has opened up Reynaldo Ribeiro's cut even more.

Calloway makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Ribeiro is rocked!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Calloway.
Ribeiro is still on wobbly legs! Can Calloway finish him?

Calloway pushes Ribeiro back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Calloway drops Ribeiro with a big right hand! Calloway charges in looking to finish - Ribeiro manages to keep Calloway in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Calloway postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ribeiro covers up, he's hurt! Calloway keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Calloway and the ref steps in to end the fight! Calloway can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Calloway!
Our winner, Jim Calloway, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
