Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Valerio (ranked 2254 p4p, 3016 weight class) and Olo Adofo (ranked 271 p4p, 349 weight class). Valerio's entrance music is God is a DJ - Faithless. A fine choice. Olo Adofo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Olo Adofo!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valerio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Adofo throws a right hand that misses
and Adofo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Olo Adofo has been cut.
Olo Adofo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adofo throws a sloppy head kick
and Valerio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Valerio moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Adofo misses with a head kick.
Valerio scores with a nice strike.
Valerio lands with a nice body punch.
Valerio throws a big shot that misses.
Adofo is looking to clinch but Valerio is avoiding it.

Adofo forces Valerio back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Valerio just misses with a elbow thrown towards Adofo's brow.

Valerio tries to pull guard but Adofo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Valerio isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Adofo stacks Valerio on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Adofo!
Adofo wants to control but Valerio is keeping him busy.

Valerio moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Valerio is looking for a triangle here but Adofo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Valerio gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Adofo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Valerio's head.
Valerio manages to get to full guard.
Adofo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Valerio works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Adofo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Valerio has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adofo has managed to get both his arms back between Valerio's legs - danger averted.

Adofo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Valerio tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Adofo smiles and moves away.

Valerio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Adofo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Valerio throws a good cross that connects.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Adofo.
Adofo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Valerio stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Valerio avoids the head kick by Adofo.

Adofo lands a high kick to the side of Valerio's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Adofo dives into guard, looking to finish.
