Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emmerson Mile!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mile lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Mile ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mile is looking to counter with head kicks.
King misses with a right hand
and Mile counters with a thumping low kick.
King lands with a hook. Mile tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Emmerson Mile has been cut.
Mile with the inside leg kick.
Mile definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
King avoids a kick to the body.
King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mile moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
King throws a head kick but Mile moves out of range.
King throws a poor cross that misses
and Mile counters with a nice kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mile.

Mile ducks under a wild hook from King.
Mile fires out a quick counter leg kick but King just manages to avoid it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mile. That's going to slow King down.
Mile uses good head movement to avoid the hook from King.
King pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mile tried to counter with a leg kick but King avoided it.
Mile scores with a kick to the body.

Mile has King up against the cage in a clinch.
Mile has King pushed against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from King fails to land.

Mile controlling the action here for a moment.
Mile lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Mile has King pulled in close to control his posture.

Mile escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mile is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mile working for a triangle but King defends it easily.

Mile had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.
King content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mile has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Mile's legs - danger averted.

King is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mile looking for subs off his back but King has passed one foot through into half guard.
Mile is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mile doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King.
King is trying to control the action in half guard but Mile is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

King dips to his left and cracks Mile with an uppercut!
Ledley King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mile throws a head kick that misses.
Mile lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A jab from King finds it's way through Mile's defenses.
A slow jab from King misses its intended target.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! King throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Mile is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ledley King!
After the fight, Ledley King was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
