Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mer Lo (ranked 772 p4p, 2214 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 77 p4p, 191 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Magomedov's choice of entrance music: Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Magomedov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lo avoids it really well and circles away.
Magomedov misses with a takedown attempt - Lo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mer Lo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hasbulla Magomedov.

Magomedov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Magomedov lands in his opponent's guard.
Lo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Magomedov has picked Lo up and slammed him! Lo can't keep hold of the triangle and Magomedov manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Magomedov but great work by Lo.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Magomedov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Magomedov seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Lo's chin but Lo turns very nicely into Magomedov's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Lo.

Lo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Magomedov to see if he's OK.

It looks like Hasbulla Magomedov has been cut.
Magomedov shoots in looking for a takedown. Lo tries to sprawl out of it but Magomedov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Lo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lo has his foot on Magomedov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Magomedov works his way back into a safe position though.

Lo lands with an uppercut that bounces Magomedov off the cage and back into range.
Magomedov is rocked!
Lo cracks Magomedov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Magomedov falls backwards against the cage. Lo follows up with more strikes that drop Magomedov to his knees. Lo keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Magomedov! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mer Lo!
