This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 11 losses; Trip Fontaine! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 19 losses; Desi Kraag! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kraag doesn't manage to clinch there - Fontaine circles away.
Fontaine drives through and clinches with Kraag against the ropes.
Kraag tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fontaine just stands there and leans against the ropes. Kraag wants a takedown but no success here.

Kraag is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fontaine pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kraag tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kraag tries to pull guard but Fontaine won't allow it.
Fontaine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kraag smiles and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kraag looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kraag is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fontaine pulls his head out easily. Kraag tries to get to full guard but Fontaine has control of the leg. Fontaine moves nicely into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Fontaine (5) vs (0) Kraag Kraag looking for a sweep but Fontaine has passed into full mount! Oh no! Score +2 for reaching mount: Fontaine (7) vs (0) Kraag Fontaine tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kraag tries to reverse the position but Fontaine maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fontaine controlling his opponent. Kraag should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kraag is just holding on here. Fontaine manages to take his back.
Score +3 for taking back: Fontaine (10) vs (0) Kraag Kraag won't enjoy being in this position. Fontaine looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kraag is tapping - it's over boys! Fontaine picks up the submission victory!
