Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John James (ranked 4051 p4p, 3890 weight class) and Alden Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 240 weight class). Alden Horn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alden Horn! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
James looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nice strikes from Horn there. Horn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. James defending well though. Horn trying to control from half guard but James is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horn is looking to advance position but James won't allow it. Horn wants to control but James is keeping him busy.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Horn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. James doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Horn.

Horn thows an elbow strike that misses. James gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Horn doesn't seem too bothered but James quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Horn is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Horn really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
