Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anthonee Joshua (ranked 2820 p4p, 2622 weight class) and Kini Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthonee Joshua could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kini Kong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthonee Joshua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kini Kong! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Kong connects with a nice looking jab.
Kong scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joshua throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Joshua connects with a body shot that sends Kong's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong throws a right and a left that both miss. Some wild striking there from Joshua.
As Joshua backs off Kong throws a huge counter combo but Joshua manages to avoid it all. Kong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joshua. As Joshua backs off Kong throws a huge counter combo but Joshua manages to avoid it all.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Joshua throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kong counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Joshua.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joshua misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kong throws a hook to the side of Joshua's head but Joshua sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Joshua throws a right hand that Kong ducks under and follows up with a left that Kong also avoids with ease. Kong unleashes a big counter combination but Joshua bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kong's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kong duly obliges. Kong defending well as Joshua loads up on a big left hand. Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joshua moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Joshua swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joshua swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kong swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kini Kong dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! A combination from Joshua does no damage. Kong throws a counter combo. Joshua ducks right into an uppercut from Kong. A big left from Kong misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joshua closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong slips a jab and a cross from Joshua.
Kong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little feinted left hand from Joshua on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kong lands a jab to Joshua's midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joshua misses with a left hand and Kong counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Anthonee Joshua has been cut. Kong slips a straight right by Joshua. As Joshua backs off Kong throws a huge counter combo but Joshua manages to avoid it all. Joshua misses with a hook. A slow jab from Kong misses its intended target. Joshua swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Joshua looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joshua throws a right and a left that Kong avoids nicely. Kong throws out a counter right but Joshua avoids it with no problem. Kong tries to bum rush Joshua with a series of wild strikes but Joshua uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kong has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kong lands a lovely overhand right. Joshua misses with a body shot.
As Joshua backs off Kong throws a huge counter combo but Joshua manages to avoid it all.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big left from Kong misses. Joshua seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kong moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kong might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kong lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kong uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Joshua. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kini Kong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Anthonee Joshua's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Joshua lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Joshua throws a jab but it's blocked by Kong. Joshua shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kong eats them both and turns towards Joshua to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joshua on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joshua walks into a stiff left hand from Kong. We've been informed that Kong has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Joshua misses with a straight left. Joshua ducks under a wild hook from Kong. It looked like Joshua was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kong throws the left hand but Joshua avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Joshua. Joshua fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Joshua wobbles Kong with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Joshua dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Kong to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Anthonee Joshua! Kini Kong was interviewed post fight and said 'I will be back!'.
