Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 1021 p4p, 685 weight class) and James King (ranked 97 p4p, 64 weight class). James King acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 29 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Branko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davdio Branko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Branko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from King. That one must have hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King delivers a nice body kick.
Branko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Branko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
King manages to get to full guard.

Branko has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Branko's guard.

Branko is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.
Branko keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.

Branko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King won't allow Branko to sweep him here.
King throws a strike but Branko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Branko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Branko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Branko is working hard here to advance position.

Branko postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! King is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Branko, into his guard.

King has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Branko is proving hard to escape from.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
King's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

King throws a big right hand that misses.

Branko has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.

Branko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Branko isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. King stacks Branko on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by King!
Branko is not content to let King control the position.
Branko tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.

Branko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The fighters are battling for position here. Branko manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Branko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. King is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Branko.
King is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Branko's shoulder. That is not cool.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
An elbow from King crashes against the mat.
Branko is looking to regain half guard here but King keeps moving and retains side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

James King dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Branko feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Branko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
King looking to hit a scissor sweep but Branko is one step ahead there.
King has control of Branko's left arm, preventing Branko from doing any damage.
Branko forces his way into half guard.

Branko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Branko maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! King could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Branko has cracked it and King is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Branko!
