Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Beltran (ranked 1405 p4p, 2632 weight class) and Rudo Ryokale (ranked 85 p4p, 146 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beltran misses with a wild combination.
Beltran throws a nice looking combination but Ryokale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Beltran definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ryokale takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Rudo Ryokale has been cut.
Ryokale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beltran moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beltran avoids the head kick by Ryokale.
Beltran looks to score with a jab to the body but Ryokale is just out of range.
Ryokale misses with a low kick.
Beltran throws a big counter combination but Ryokale scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Beltran throws a shot from downtown. Ryokale moves away and avoids it.
Ryokale misses with a straight left.
Beltran connects with the punch.
A swing and a miss from Ryokale.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beltran lands a jab to Ryokale's midsection.

Ryokale throws a right and a left that Beltran avoids nicely.
Beltran swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Rudo Ryokale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beltran is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Ryokale misses the body punch
and Ryokale takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Beltran moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Ryokale is rocked!
Ryokale switches off momentarily and Beltran cracks him with a monster right hand! Ryokale topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Beltran dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Beltran!
