Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bernard McCurtney (ranked 2039 p4p, 3389 weight class) and Liam Dylan (ranked 153 p4p, 228 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCurtney might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Green card". The key to victory for Bernard McCurtney has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard McCurtney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Dylan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylan tries to clinch up but McCurtney circles away and keeps his distance.
McCurtney appears to be looking for a big counter.
A solid leg kick lands there for McCurtney.
Dylan looks to throw a body kick
and McCurtney counters with a three punch combo that has Dylan backing up. Dylan nods at McCurtney to acknowledge the strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dylan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McCurtney lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Dylan tries to clinch there but McCurtney circles away.
Dylan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McCurtney throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
McCurtney throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCurtney looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCurtney wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dylan's coach down at Gym Goroshi London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dylan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
McCurtney slips a jab and a cross from Dylan.
McCurtney throws a series of strikes that have Dylan backpedaling.
McCurtney swats away the attempt to clinch by Dylan.
Dylan throws a head kick that misses.
McCurtney scores with a three punch combo!

Dylan clinches up with McCurtney and pushes him back against the cage.

McCurtney pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dylan tries to clinch there but McCurtney circles away.
McCurtney is working the combinations to good effect here.
Dylan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Dylan darts in and clinches McCurtney up against the cage.
McCurtney content to slow the pace in the clinch.
McCurtney looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
McCurtney wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
McCurtney has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Dylan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McCurtney scores with a three punch combo!

Dylan pushes McCurtney up against the cage in a clinch.

Dylan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dylan wants to clinch
and McCurtney counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

McCurtney scores with a jab. Dylan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
McCurtney definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCurtney connects with a right hand. Dylan shakes it off.
Dylan throws a nice looking combination but McCurtney bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dylan wants to clinch up but McCurtney keeps it at a distance.
No joy there for Dylan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McCurtney appears to be looking for a big counter.
Dylan looks winded!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McCurtney, as that shot connected.
McCurtney throws a series of punches but Dylan avoids them all with ease.
McCurtney's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dylan under the eye.
McCurtney dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dylan. That did some damage!
Dylan slips a jab and a cross from McCurtney.
McCurtney punishes Dylan's body with a nice straight punch.
Sloppy strikes from McCurtney. Those never looked like landing.

Dylan forces McCurtney back against the cage and clinches.
McCurtney is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dylan is keeping busy.
McCurtney tries to work over Dylan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McCurtney lands a shoulder strike.

Dylan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dylan feints and then cracks McCurtney's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McCurtney down.
McCurtney avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Some wild striking there from McCurtney.
McCurtney dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McCurtney throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dylan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dylan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McCurtney ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
McCurtney scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dylan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

McCurtney comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dylan walks into a jab.
Dylan tries to clinch there but McCurtney circles away.
McCurtney works the jab nicely.

Dylan is rocked!
Dylan misses with a few strikes there.
Dylan is still on wobbly legs! Can McCurtney finish him?
Dylan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McCurtney walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dylan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! McCurtney swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dylan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bernard McCurtney!
Bernard McCurtney seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
