Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Omega drives through and clinches with Simmons against the cage.
Simmons throws a knee to the head but misses.
Simmons throws an elbow but it misses.
Omega drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Simmons gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Simmons lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Kenny Omega has been cut.
Simmons prevents Omega from breaking the clinch.
Simmons blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Simmons looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Simmons tries to land knees in the clinch but Omega avoids the damage to the body.
Simmons content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Simmons trying to stand up but can't free himself from Omega's guard.

Omega has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Simmons can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Simmons wanted to stand there but Omega had control of the position.
Omega punching from the bottom - just letting Simmons know he's still in a fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simmons wants to get up but he can't break Omega's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Omega is on top in guard.

Omega sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Simmons's guard.

Omega is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Simmons is trying to stand back up but Omega is controlling him

Simmons pushes Omega off, looking to escape but Omega dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Simmons is forced to tap! The fight is over!
