Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry comes to the cage accompanied by Lützenkirchen - Leer aber Techno. Hank Hanson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Hanson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry fails in his attempt to clinch. Perry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Perry wants to get back to his feet.

Perry passes to full mount! Perry throws some wild stikes that Hanson manages to avoid easily.
Perry controlling his opponent. Hanson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hanson blocking the ground and pound. Hanson really wants to buck Perry off and get back to his feet. Hanson tries to hold on but Perry postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry stands up from mount. Strange move. Perry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hanson is fending him off so far but Perry persists. Nope, Hanson circles away and we're back to standing. Hanson leaves Perry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hanson tries to clinch up but Perry circles away and keeps his distance. Hanson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perry paws at him with a jab and circles away. Perry looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hanson! Perry lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Perry breaks from Hanson's wrist control and lands an elbow. Perry swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hanson is now in Perry's guard. A big mistake from Perry there, giving up the dominant position! Hanson trying to control but Perry is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanson pushing down on Perry's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hanson is taking a breather. Perry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Perry looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Perry is breathing heavily. Perry is staying active underneath Hanson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hanson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Perry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perry is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hanson wants to control but Perry is keeping him busy. Perry trying to hold on to Hanson's head to control him but Hanson postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Perry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hanson moves in looking to clinch but Perry pushes him off. Hank Hanson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Perry shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanson sprawls well. He's pushed Perry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fred Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perry shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Perry is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hanson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
