PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Sandoval (ranked 1188 p4p, 1054 weight class) and Scooter McGraw (ranked 67 p4p, 60 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scooter McGraw!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGraw throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sandoval stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sandoval is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGraw.
McGraw misses the shot to the body.
McGraw lands a jab.

It looks like Tristan Sandoval has been cut.
Sandoval moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Scooter McGraw has been cut.
Sandoval definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

McGraw feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sandoval sprawling to the canvas! Sandoval rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McGraw finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice defenses there by McGraw.

McGraw drops Sandoval with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sandoval looks back up at him and smiles so McGraw waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Sandoval is rocked!

Tristan Sandoval's cut is getting worse.

McGraw moves into the clinch.
McGraw throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sandovals head.
Oh Sandoval is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McGraw digs a right hand underneath Sandoval's ribcage. Sandoval let out a lung full of air as it connected.
