Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Freeman (ranked 2944 p4p, 25249 weight class) and Aiden Murphy (ranked 236 p4p, 377 weight class). Morgan Freeman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 2, fighting out of The Island, Morgan Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aiden Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman misses with an uppercut. Murphy saw that one coming.
And Murphy tries to counter it with a takedown but Freeman pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Freeman drives through with a takedown into guard.
Murphy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Freeman defends well.
Freeman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Freeman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Murphy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Freeman puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freeman is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Murphy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Freeman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Freeman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Murphy for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy wants to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Freeman in particular looking to stall.
Murphy tries to roll over but Freeman keeps him under control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Murphy is pressing down on Freeman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freeman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Murphy controls Freeman momentarily but Freeman frees himself.
Freeman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Murphy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Murphy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Freeman.
Murphy tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Freeman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Freeman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Murphy can do to turn this around?

Morgan Freeman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

You can see the frustration on Murphy's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Freeman is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Murphy knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Murphy for a finish.

Murphy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
