Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between D Von Dudley (ranked 4346 p4p, 5403 weight class) and Deon Jeffries (ranked 444 p4p, 479 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, D Von Dudley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deon Jeffries!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudley slips under a jab from Jeffries.
Dudley cracks Jeffries with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Jeffries closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dudley quickly recovers to half guard.
Dudley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dudley tries to get out of the position.
Dudley wants to improve his position but Jeffries is controlling well.
Dudley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dudley.
Dudley pulls Jeffries in to control the position.
Jeffries must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dudley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jeffries manages to get himself to full guard.

Jeffries wants to get back to his feet but Dudley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jeffries throws a right and a left that Dudley avoids nicely.

Jeffries changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dudley tries to avoid it but Jeffries manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dudley to the ground. Dudley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jeffries tries a head kick but it misses.
Deon Jeffries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dudley throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jeffries on the side of the head.
Jeffries takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Dudley digs a good body shot into Jeffries's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dudley cracks Jeffries with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jeffries lands with a kick to the temple. Dudley shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jeffries just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dudley's brow.

Jeffries feints and as Dudley raises his hands in defense, Jeffries changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dudley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dudley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jeffries for as long as he can get away with.

Deon Jeffries showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Jeffries tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dudley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jeffries somewhat.
Dudley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Jeffries closes the distance and clinches up with Dudley, looking for a takedown. Jeffries pushes Dudley against the cage but Dudley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jeffries closes the distance and clinches up with Dudley, looking for a takedown. Jeffries pushes Dudley against the cage but Dudley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
