Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Kay (ranked 2803 p4p, 4446 weight class) and Shunji Nishida (ranked 320 p4p, 459 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shunji Nishida!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kay with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nishida to score with a decent uppercut.
Kay looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nishida!

We've been hearing good reports from Kay's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
