And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 1 losses; Walon Green!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Trismegistus shoots in and drives through. Green sprawls well.
Trismegistus closes the distance and clinches up with Green, looking for a takedown. Trismegistus pushes Green against the cage but Green circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Green.
Green doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Trismegistus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Green's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Trismegistus (2) vs (0) Green
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Green wants to control from the top but Trismegistus keeps moving.

Green is pushing down on Trismegistus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Trismegistus is fighting to maintain full guard but Green has managed to sneak the leg through.
Green is looking for a kimura but Trismegistus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Green to get the leverage.

Trismegistus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Green wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Green is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Trismegistus looks calm but he's in trouble here. Green gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Trismegistus is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Green lets go of the hold and Trismegistus can pop his arm back in it's socket.
