Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Larry Luutch!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McEchrean throws a head kick that misses.
McEchrean gets caught flat footed, as Luutch shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Luutch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Luutch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
McEchrean misses with a wild body shot.
Luutch is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McEchrean .
Luutch throws a head kick but McEchrean moves out of range.
McEchrean shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Luutch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Luutch lands in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McEchrean controls Luutch momentarily but Luutch frees himself.
Luutch stands up and waves to McEchrean to follow him.
Luutch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Luutch goes for a takedown in the clinch but McEchrean prevents it.
Luutch breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McEchrean shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Luutch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Luutch looks gassed!
McEchrean wants to control from the top but Luutch keeps moving.
Luutch had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McEchrean is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Luutch Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McEchrean 's back instead.
You can see the frustration on McEchrean 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Luutch has both hooks in and is working for a choke. McEchrean is in real trouble here. Luutch gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, McEchrean is tapping out! Luutch wins by rear naked choke!
