Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Planet Hell. The crowd seem to be enjoying Alvarez's choice of entrance music: Old Time Sake. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alvarez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Emelianenko instigates a clinch.
Emelianenko pushes Alvarez back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Alvarez goes for a takedown attempt but Emelianenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Emelianenko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Alvarez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Emelianenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Emelianenko finds Alvarez's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Alvarez flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Emelianenko lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Alvarez will be OK.
