PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Winai Montri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Marker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alan Marker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montri tries for a takedown but Marker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Montri tries to clinch there but Marker circles away.

Marker moves into the clinch successfully.

Montri goes for a takedown attempt but Marker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Marker is pressed up against the cage. Montri has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Marker down to the mat. Marker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Montri or perhaps it was just good defense by Marker which made him look bad.
Marker stalks Montri and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Montri's face. Montri staggers backwards, shaken.

Montri shoots in looking for a takedown. Marker tries to sprawl out of it but Montri keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Montri changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marker tries to avoid it but Montri manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marker to the ground. Marker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
