Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Bledsoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Bledsoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Bledsoe.

Bledsoe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pete shoots for a double leg takedown but Bledsoe sprawls well. He's pushed Pete's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bledsoe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Happy Pete has been cut.
Bledsoe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horrible takedown by Pete or perhaps it was just good defense by Bledsoe which made him look bad.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bledsoe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pete manages to get himself to full guard.

Happy Pete is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bledsoe tries a head kick but it misses.
Pete feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
