The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Nozadzi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gabenagus turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gabenagus manages to end up in side control.

Gabenagus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nozadzi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gabenagus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Nozadzi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gabenagus has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nozadzi is looking to defend but Gabenagus has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nozadzi! Gabenagus pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nozadzi taps out and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Mecilvus Gabenagus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
