Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danish Quereshi (ranked 4186 p4p, 5183 weight class) and Cash Roberson (ranked 427 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash Roberson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quereshi drives through and clinches with Roberson against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Quereshi.
Roberson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Roberson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
The referee calls for Quereshi to work.
Roberson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Roberson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Quereshi blocks the elbow strike.
A frustrated look appears on Quereshi's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Roberson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Roberson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Quereshi has Roberson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roberson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The referee calls for Quereshi to work.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Quereshi manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Quereshi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Roberson avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It seemed like Roberson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Quereshi shoots in looking for a takedown but Roberson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Quereshi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Quereshi throws a solid leg kick but Roberson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Quereshi.
Roberson throws out a counter right but Quereshi avoids it with no problem.
Quereshi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roberson sprawls well. Roberson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quereshi gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Danish Quereshi will probably get the nod.

Roberson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quereshi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
